The United Kingdom gave me a lot of weather and a lot of texture, which is usually enough. The streets felt tighter, the surfaces more worn in, and the light softer in a way that kept flattening and deepening the frame at the same time.
I ended up drawn less to landmarks than to atmosphere. A facade, a street corner, a stretch of cloud cover, a little wear in the stone. That was where the place kept becoming itself.
